5 out of 5 stars great piece of furniture!   May 30, 2009

I received my computer armoire and I was quite surprised by the box (which is about 6 feet long and flat! It's in quite a few pieces and did take approximately 2 1/2 hours to put together! But It really is a nice piece of furniture and was just as I expected it would be like. The cost is very economical and I do think the price is so low, that if they sold it assembled they could easily get a lot more money for it! Appears to be very durable, quite a nice addition to my living space. I am very happy with my purchase!

4 out of 5 stars Review   October 25, 2008

The desk was pretty easy to assemble, it took me an afternoon. Most of the parts were intact, except for one piece that was cracked in half. I had to call the company and they sent a replacement part out, for free, the next day (it took about 5 days to receive it though). Some of the parts were also smushed on the coroners.

Once assembled, it looked really good. I had to move it to another part of the room, so my sister and I moved it and the whole alignment of the cabinet doors was thrown off. It took some disassembly to get it realigned again, but it still didn't look 100%. Also there were tiny little knicks on the door where the paint had chipped off (that could have been my fault for propping it up against a bookshelf during construction) but the fact that it chips so easily may be an issue.

Other than those issues, the desk looks really good, functions well, and I love the fact that those doors hide my office.

4 out of 5 stars decent for the price   January 5, 2010

Arrived about a week before the expected delivery date. Everything was great and I had put most of it together before realizing that one of the finishing pieces for the front was broken in half. Contacted the company and they're going to send me a new one. Still, it was a steal at this price and I'm happy with the purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Very nice: takes a bit to put together   February 17, 2010

I ordered this and it came in the two week time frame they said it would. I put things together ALL the time, and I found the instructions to be the most detailed out of anything (furniture-wise) that I have assembled. The only thing is that there are a lot of parts, and although there are only 20 steps, there may be two to three parts per step. It is not the highest quality, but it is very nice looking and worth the price. My only complaint is that the doors have three hinges, and the middle hinges are right on the path of the keyboard when it is time to assemble the doors. You are going to have to be resourceful and figure how to screw them on. But, other than that, it really is a good looking piece, definitely recommend it. Hides all my computer junk perfectly!

This is an decent piece of furniture for the price. Assembly instructions were a little confusing but overall not a bad setup. Cabinet looks good and is laid out nicely, but a little flimsy and the laminate is cheap. Hardware is good quality and it assembles tightly. If you're looking for a cheap computer cabinet, this works nicely. Just don't expect to much.
