This company has it together. Got it on time, and it was SOOOO easy to put together. All the pieces were there, and it is absolutely beautiful. For the price (?????) I was floored. Great response time to email, also. Buy it... you won't be sorry.

5 out of 5 stars Well built   January 30, 2010

I bought this for my son. It is well made and easy to put together. It's also nice looking and doesn't look cheap.

This desk was a bit disappointing for me because after putting it together (definitely a 2 person job) the keyboard tray was really low to the ground. I had to put the feet of the desk up on thick pieces of cardboard so the keyboard tray wouldn't be hitting my knees (and I'm a short guy!). Admittedly I should have paid attention to the dimensions better, but I just couldn't understand why computer desk would be so short (it's quite uncomfortable for my wrists and back to be typing on something that low.)

Other than that, it's an attractive desk and wasn't too difficult to assemble. It was pretty sturdy before I had to prop it up on cardboard as well. I'd recommend it for children or for extremely short adults.

4 out of 5 stars Nice desk   December 18, 2007

In thinking what to write for a review, I asked myself would I buy another one. The desk is strong as they used really heavy MDF board. The only beef I have is that the veneer is soooo thin, it peels around the edges, although it is minimal, but I wonder how long the veneer will stay on.
It goes together easy and it is solidly built. The top is really solid as well. (There's a lower price here on Amazon but I didn't check the how much the shipping costs were.)

I would've given it a 5 star rating if it weren't for the veneer.

Also you will need a rubber mallet to put the molded edges on. You have to hammer it on, and you need the mallet so you don't hurt the finish.

this desk is great! i am completely happy with it!

the 4ft of desk space is perfect for holding my 18inch laptop and all my college books and i still had room to girlie it up a bit! the shelves give u more room to hold books to, they are very deep and you can adjust the center shelf to any height. Putting it together wasn't that bad either. the instructions were a little confusing, nothing was labeled, and the top needed 2 people to push down on it to push it in place. it took about 20 minuets.

my only real complaint was that there was no back board for the shelves. i had planed to keep mine against the wall anyway but i would be more comfortable with a back board for it.

other than that it was a great buy!
