I ordered this desk for my college student at home who does not have a lot of space in his room but wanted to be organized and have privacy while working on his school work. It is a perfect fit in his room, doesn't take up a lot of space and can be easily moved around if needed. It is sturdy and has room to suit all his needs for laptop, printer, books, and accessories. I would recommend this item to anyone who is limited on space. The price is also very affordable.

I bought this desk in late July 2010. It arrived a few days before it was supposed to. It is easy to assemble, having labeled parts and tools to assemble the desk. I had two problems: the first is that the surface material partially covers the screw holes, giving the impression that the screws are too big. The second problem is that the screws that hold the keyboard panel on are very tight. The desk easily accommodates my 17" laptop and mouse WITHOUT the shelf. The shelf is removable and has no screw holes or screws to get lost. It is slightly too high for me to sit on my low couch comfortably. When I put the shelf on to hold my game case, the mouse has to sit on the keyboard shelf. This is not a problem since I have a keyboard built into my laptop. My Logitech laser mouse does not work on the surface, so buy a mousepad if you don't already own one. The desk has locks on it's front two casters. It is very stable. I roll it over carpet and foam tile regularly and haven't felt the least bit worried about my computer falling off.

Am not at all pleased with this purchase. Its not a stable platform for a computer unless you use it with kid gloves. Its unstable. You have trouble getting a chair in to a comfortable spot to work. The cover is rippled and not on tight. You are getting what you pay for with this one!!!
